New HQ for Bradken

A GLOBAL mining consumables manufacturer is preparing for a move to new headquarters.

Bradken is to relocate from its two previous headquarters in Forncett Street and Vantage Drive in Sheffield to a refurbished site at Dodds Close in Rotherham in order to combine its office and warehouse facilities into one building.

The deal was overseen by the Sheffield office of Knight Frank, which is also marketing the firm’s former property.

Bradken commercial manager Robert Stephenson said: “We chose our new building at Dodds Close as we were looking to combine our office and warehouse facilities into one building and this new building provided the perfect solution.

“Once we had decided on Dodds Close, Knight Frank worked closely with us and the landlord Hallam Gate Trust to ensure the property was adjusted to suit our needs.”

Knight Frank partner Tim Bottrill said: “The new 12,000 sq ft base was the right size and location for Bradken but just required a few interior tweaks to make the space right for them.”

Bradken is scheduled to move into its new base by the end of September.

Knight Frank is now selling Bradken’s 24,000 sq ft former building.
