Vp sees growing demand thanks to housebuilding and utility markets

The Harrogate-based firm said that since its AGM on July 23, when it reported that the new financial year had started well and in line with management expectations, it has “continued to experience good demand in particular from the infrastructure, utility and housebuilding sectors, which is helping to deliver solid year on year revenue growth”.
It added in a statement to the Stock Exchange: “The group remains well positioned to invest further into the business in support of new opportunities as they are secured and to deliver further good progress in the current financial year.”
Vp’s six operations include tool hire firm Hire Station; UK Forks, which supplies rough terrain material handling equipment; Groundforce, which provides excavation support systems, specialist piling and trenchless technology for the water, gas, civil engineering and construction industries; Airpac Bukom Oilfield Services, which provides equipment to the international oil and gas exploration and development markets; portable roadway systems supplier TPA; and Torrent Trackside, which supplies rail infrastructure portable plant and specialist rail services to Network Rail and London Underground.
