Appointments: Search Consultancy; Winston Solicitors; CPP

RECRUITMENT specialist Search Consultancy has made two senior promotions at its Leeds office as it prepares to celebrate a milestone.

Liz Evans has been promoted to the role of associate director across the agency’s Leeds and Sheffield offices, and Neil Blackman will take on the role of divisional manager of the Leeds office services team.

The promotions come as the Leeds office approaches its 10 year anniversary.

There are 75 staff in the Leeds office, and the recruitment team has placed more than 6,000 people in permanent and temporary work over the last 18 months.

WINSTON Solicitors has promoted two of its senior employees.

Marie Walsh, head of employment, and Sally Clark, head of family, have been made partners at the Leeds-based firm.

Jonathan Winston, managing partner, said: “Marie and Sally are dynamic, well respected and hardworking individuals who provide a first class legal service to our clients. They will play a valuable role in continuing to develop the firm and our employees.”

SHAUN Astley-Stone has joined CPP Group as a non-executive director.

He worked previously for the group as interim UK managing director from August 2012 until May 2013, during which time he was instrumental in building the customer focus of the UK business and in improving regulatory relationships.

As well as his knowledge of the group, Astley-Stone brings a wealth of experience of the retail financial services sector.

Chairman Charles Gregson said: “We are delighted to welcome Shaun on to the group board and look forward to working with him during this next phase of the group’s development.”
