Communisis on track to deliver

COMMUNISIS today said that it is making “good strategic progress” and is on course to deliver its forecast full year results.

In an interim management statement for the third quarter to September 30 the Leeds-based printing and personalised customer communication services group said a number of developments including a 10-year contract from Lloyds Banking Group, the installation of the first of two new high speed colour printers and a refinancing of its bank debt, had all contributed to good progress.

The company said that the acquisition of Editions Financial, the UK’s leading content marketing agency in the financial services sector, in September would help it broaden its services in a key sector and the business is being integrated into its operation as planned.

Communisis, which used to print cheques for the major banks, has been replacing this “legacy” operation by focusing on growth in outsourcing that it said is creating new business opportunities.

Andy Blundell, chief executive, commented: “Communisis continues to deliver successfully on its strategy for profitable growth and is increasingly viewed as a trusted outsourcing partner by leading consumer-facing brands.”
