PR, Marketing and HR Appointments: Linpac appoints VP and more

A round-up of the week’s PR, marketing and HR appointments.
LINPAC Packaging has appointed John A Jones as vice president of HR and HSHE.
Mr Jones will have overall responsibility of organisational development, change management, senior level recruitment, compensation and benefits packages and HSHE across Wakefield-based LINPAC Packing, a multinational company.
Mr Jones has a wealth of HR experience with a number of blue chip companies including British Energy, Scottish and Newcastle, HJ Heinz and Allied Steel and Wire.
He is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, a member of the Chartered Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management.

MARKETING consultancy Golley Slater has made three senior appointments at its Leeds office as part of strategic expansion plans to grow its operation in Yorkshire.
Tim Orrell joins as managing director of the marketing services and advertising division from Beyond1 where he held the same position.
Having worked in a number of leading agencies in the region, Mr Orrell brings with him a wealth of client experience that includes Adsa, Hewlett Packard and Marks & Spencer.
The marketing services and advertising division has also been boosted by the appointments of Aidan Nicholson as account director and Nicola Hirst as senior account manager.
He will head up the Proctor & Gamble account having joined from Poulters where he worked on a number of FMCG and leisure clients including Pepsi, Kelloggs and Glaxo Smith Kline.
Ms Hirst brings 13 year’s experience to Golley Slater having worked with T-Mobile, Coca-Cola and Kiss 100 radio station and will head The Army marketing account in the North East, Yorkshire and North West.
