He said: “With one of the largest financial services sector outside of London, Yorkshire is a driving force for the industry in the English regions. Having been based in Yorkshire for the last eight years, I have seen first-hand the changes the sector has been through and so I look forward to taking up this role as sentiment continues to improve strongly, mirroring the UK economic rebound.
“The region houses some significant, dynamic financial services organisations and I am keen to play a key part in leading our team of financial services experts in Yorkshire. Many organisations are now feeling more optimistic about their business situation than at any time during the past seven years, so it is an exciting time to be working in this sector.”
