Former Yorkshire Forward chairman joins Reset board

RESET, the competence management solutions provider, has appointed Terry Hodgkinson as a non-executive director.
Hodgkinson is best known for his former role as chairman of the regional development agency Yorkshire Forward.
Prior to Yorkshire Forward, he founded, managed and later sold his own building and contracting firm Lemmeleg.
Ian Townsend, chairman of Reset, said: “We are delighted that a businessman of Terry’s stature has joined Reset which is a further endorsement of our services and growing position in the industry. The wide ranging experience he has gained throughout his successful career in both the private and public sectors are ideally suited to his new role within Reset.”
Hodgkinson added: “I am very pleased to be joining such an innovative company as Reset at such an exciting stage in their development. I believe that my background provides me with a comprehensive insight into the challenges and difficulties which Reset helps its clients overcome. There is no doubt in my mind that the vast majority of facilities in the UK, whether privately or publicly operated would benefit from the cost effective solutions Reset offer.”
Reset offers an innovative management system to help organisations check the competence of contractors before they start work on site.
With one scan of a Reset card, companies bringing workers onto site can verify that they have all the skills and qualifications necessary, without having to scrutinise reams of paperwork.
Reset ensures compliance with all HSE legislation through fully traceable checks on all contractors and their employees.
It is now widely used by a number of sectors including universities, airports and food manufacturing as well as substantial number of NHS properties.
