Hotel group in administration

A YORKSHIRE company which owned three Yorkshire hotels has gone into administration, it has been reported.

Bradford-based Tomahawk Hotels had operated the Aston Hall Hotel in Sheffield, Bradford’s Great Victoria Hotel and the Woodlands in Leeds.

Joint administrators from accountancy firm BDO were appointed on August 24, it is understood.

BDO said weddings and other functions at the hotels would not be affected.

It is understood that two Tomahawk directors have been made redundant but no other job losses are expected.

Hotel group BDL Management has been appointed to assist with operations at the hotels.

Aston is surrounded by 55 acres of woodland and 52 luxury bedrooms; Woodlands is a boutique hotel; and the Great Victoria offers 70 bedrooms in Bradford city centre.
