Expansion announced for legal firm

A LEEDS law firm has expanded into the city centre.

Winston Solicitors has opened a second office at 4 Park Place and said since it was launched in Roundhay in 2002, it has grown steadily.

Managing partner, Jonathan Winston, said: “This strategic move is important for the practice, as it gives our Commercial and Court-based teams a presence in the heart of the Leeds legal and commercial centre.”

Winston said his original plan was to develop a practice with a city centre level of expertise, located in an area close to the homes of many of the firm’s clients, but as the firm has expanded and diversified, he said it made sense to open the city centre office.

Winston Solicitors employs 35 staff and its new office will employ an additional eight to ten.
