Following the success of the Tour de France Grand Depart weekend, Yorkshire Food Finder and tour operator Inntravel have created a gastronomic break which will include behind the scenes private tours to some of Yorkshire’s finest artisan producers, gourmet feasts created by some of county’s highly-acclaimed chefs, and stays at quality hotels.

Yorkshire Food Finder founder Sue Nelson, said: “Like the rest of Yorkshire we’re enormously proud of all that we have here, so we’re delighted to be working with Inntravel to showcase the splendour of Yorkshire, its wonderful larder and the talent of great food producers and chefs who make this Inntravel gastronomic holiday a must for the erudite food lover.”

TWO of West Yorkshire’s food and drink institutions are working together to open a new venture in central Leeds – which promises to offer a unique combination of craft beer and Indian street food.

Bundobust is a collaboration between Bradford’s Sparrow Bier Café and vegetarian restaurant Prashad.

More of a bar than a restaurant, Bundobust will serve up a range of beer on twelve taps. Local beer from the Kirkstall Brewery, Magic Rock and Saltaire Brewery will feature plus a selection of world beers including brews from progressive Danish brewers Mikkeller, a Mango and Chilli IPA by Flying Dog and their house Coriander Pilsner brewed by a small family brewery in the Czech Republic.

Mark Husak owner of The Sparrow said: “We wanted to create something different in Leeds. There are plenty of places offering great beer, and there are plenty of amazing curry houses, but no other establishments have offered the two together.”
