Opus Land in £1.1m deal with Kerfoot Group

OPUS Land has sold two units for £1.1m to North Yorkshire-based Kerfoot Group.

Ilkley-based Opus Land has invested more than £1.6m on the complete refurbishment of the former Fletcher Transport site on the outskirts of Goole to create a 120,000 sq ft industrial site.

Called Opus 36, it comprises six single-storey units, ranging from 7,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft, and two offices.

Kerfoot Group – which specialises in supplying vegetable oil products to the food and cosmetics industries – has acquired two units covering 30,000 sq ft.

Opus Land director Andrew Duncan, a director of Opus Land, said: “We are extremely excited about Opus 36. The deal with The Kerfoot Group proves that this is an extremely attractive business park and that there are deals to be done in this challenging economic environment, provided the product is right.

“We believe that the rest of these refurbished state-of-the-art units, combined with the park’s excellent location, will prove very popular. Interest in the rest of the units is already strong and there is certainly pent-up demand in the region.”
