Contract wins for Esh

ESH Property Services is expanding in Yorkshire with a flurry of new contract wins.

The company has secured projects with Yorkshire Housing, Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and the Jephson Housing Association.

The work includes the modernisation and improvement of housing in York for the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and the building of new homes in Sicklinghall, near Wetherby, for Yorkshire Housing.

The refurbishment of homes in Acomb will be undertaken for Jephson Housing Association.

Esh Property Services recently secured a four year deal on the Yorkshire Housing construction framework. The housing association will spend £70m building new affordable homes over the next four years.

The projects will create work for 50 contractors in the region. Esh Property Services is a specialist in supporting housing associations, it is part of the Esh Group, which has expanded rapidly in Yorkshire in the last 12 months to now employs over 200 people in the region.

Commenting on the expansion, Andy Gawthorpe, regional managing director at Esh Group said: “Our work for these leading social housing providers will see much needed new, high quality, social and supported housing built and improved across the region. Esh Group is continuing to invest in Yorkshire to create new jobs and support community projects.”

Esh Group recently announced would take on 150 apprentices in the next three years across Yorkshire, Cumbria and the North East. The apprentices will join the Esh Academy and benefit from training and mentoring.
