In-site strengthens foothold in Yorkshire with property deals

INDUSTRIAL property owner and asset manager In-site Property Solutions has increased its presence in Yorkshire.

In-site, based in Bramham, has completed deals at Skinner Lane, Pontefract and Pottery Lane, Chesterfield, adding to an existing portfolio of over one million square feet.

The Pontefract site at Skinner Lane was bought as a vacant possession and is ideally located for direct access to the M62, situated at the end of a new link road which is due for completion in 2015.

In-site intends to refurbish and split the property to create a multi-occupancy trading estate to be completed by October.

The management team has identified various ways to improve the Pottery Lane site in Chesterfield, and will look to asset manage the multi-let property.

Langleys Solicitors acted on behalf of In-site for both deals.

Head of commercial property at Langleys Tim Cross, said: “In-site is a family run business with decades of experience in industrial property management, and we were delighted to assist them as they continue to acquire sites to develop and add value to throughout the region.”

Tom Day, of Stephenson Day Property Consultants, acquired the Pottery Lane site on behalf of In-site.

He said: “Interesting, multi-let industrial investments which provide a double digit return are difficult to source at the moment and so we were delighted to have secured this opportunity.

“This is one of a number of properties we have bought and sold on behalf of In-site Property Solutions over the past two years and we look forward to seeing them benefit going forward.”
