Financial Appointments: BDO adds talent to team

A round-up of the region’s financial appointments.

ACCOUNTANTS and business advisers BDO Stoy Hayward has strengthened its team in Leeds with the appointment of a new tax director, who specialises in global engagements for multi-national clients.

Dan Brookes joins the Leeds office based at Bridgewater Place from Ernst & Young, where he worked for nearly 10 years.

His new role at BDO Stoy Hayward will see him leveraging the BDO international tax network, focusing in particular on US parented groups, his specialist area.

Mr Brookes said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at BDO Stoy Hayward and look forward to really growing the business through my expertise in working with large international groups. This is a big opportunity for the firm and I hope that my appointment will allow us to grow our presence in this sector.”
