Roomzzz looks for growth with investment

ROOMZZZ Aparthotel has revealed plans to open a further six venues over the next three years after investing a six figure sum.
The Leeds-based company operates four luxury aparthotels – a cross between boutique hotels and serviced apartments.
The investment includes infrastructure improvements such as centralising its booking service and appointing an experienced new management team.
Roomzzz has refurbished its Leeds Central aparthotel which will now be known as Leeds City West. Its Leeds 361 venue will now be known as Leeds Headingley, as well as displaying the company’s revamped logo and strapline – ‘A Hotel Apart’ .
Mark Walton, head of Roomzzz, said: “It’s been a successful few years for the business however with this new investment we are putting the building blocks into place to allow it to continue to grow even faster.
“We aim to have 10 hotels within three years in major provincial towns and will look to London after that. We’ve also increased our team with both new and seasoned hotel professions in order to continue to offer a premium service to our guests.”
Mr Walton has rejoined the company from Easy Hotels after launching the first Roomzzz back in 2007.
He added: “It was an easy decision to come back to Roomzzz as it’s a dynamic company to work in and the product is something I genuinely believe in.
“The brand has already established a loyal customer base amongst both business travellers and celebrities. We now want to build on this success and take our offering out to new markets and show the whole of the UK the benefits of aparthotels.”
The brand’s ethos is that of a ‘luxury home from home’, with customers able to stay for any length of time, from a single night to a full year.
Roomzzz opened its first aparthotel in 2007 in Leeds and has recently opened a venue in Manchester city centre.
