Car park operator shifts gear on the road to expansion

ONE of Leeds’ biggest car park providers is to rebrand to reflect its rapid expansion.

Town Centre Car Parks has become Citipark as the business embarks on an ambitious growth strategy with plans to expand the number of car parks it operates across the country over the next five years. This approach has already seen the business recently acquire a multi-storey car park in Ilford, London, with the capital a key strategic location for growth.
It has completed the refurbishment of its flagship branch at the Merrion Centre, part of a £9m investment programme by its owner, Town Centre Securities PLC, the Leeds-based property investor and developer.

Ben Ziff, managing director of CitiPark, said: “With car parks in Leeds, Manchester and London boasting around 4,400 car parking spaces, we have enjoyed great success as Town Centre Car Parks. However, we felt that our rapid expansion had caused us to outgrow our current brand.

Citipark will make further upgrades across its 10-strong estate, consisting of four car parks in Leeds, including first direct Arena, five in Manchester and one in London over the coming months.
Mr Ziff added: “More widely, we are really excited about our future under the CitiPark name as we continue to offer our customers market leading services such as electronic vehicle charging facilities and offers including pay as you park as well as helping put something back into the communities we serve through our work with charities The Teenage Cancer Trust and Leeds Autism Services.”
