Fitness business opens hoping its staff can reduce its monthly income

A GYM has opened today with the enticing proposition of reducing the cost for a member the more they exercise.
After a £500,000 investment, Primal Gym has welcomed its first members to its 10,500 sq ft site at Leeds Dock with the promise of providing the right motivation for its members to reach their goals.
The new gym’s results-based reward scheme gives members up to £10 off each month when they achieve their fitness targets via a clear goal-setting points system.
It has been set up by fitness professional Philip Wright, who hopes that his 20 resident fitness experts will reduce his potential income each month by helping members hit their goals.
He said: “For too long, gyms have promised results and not delivered – our aim is to change this.
“We’re delighted to be the first gym in the UK to reward its members for doing more exercise and we’re looking forward to helping Leeds residents with our new revolutionary approach to health and fitness.
“We believe Leeds Dock is a fantastic location for a new gym and we’re excited to be part of the rejuvenation taken on by Allied London.”
