Property People: Gent Visick; SM Commercial; Sanderson Weatherall

COMMERCIAL property specialists Gent Visick has made two senior promotions.

Gidon Amar has been promoted to director and Kathryn Hodgson has been promoted to associate director.

Amar joined the firm in September 2010 having graduated from Nottingham Trent University and Hodgson, formally of Friends Provident, joined in January 2011.

LAW firm SM Commercial, a trading arm of Simpson Millar, has announced two new appointments at its Leeds office to support a renewed push into commercial property.

The commercial property team has welcomed associate Matthew Walsh and has made one of its long-standing associates, Lyndon Campbell, a partner at the firm.

Walsh has more than 15 years’ experience in property development and commercial lease work and has previously been the head of commercial property at Winston Solicitors and Emsleys Solicitors in Leeds.

Campbell has worked at the firm since 2004 predominantly in commercial property with clients including developers, investors and banks.

Both Campbell and Walsh will facilitate the expansion of firm’s portfolio in step with the growth in house building and commercial property development across the Yorkshire region and beyond.

CHARTERED surveyors and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has expanded its agency team.

The firm has recruited Dominic Towler as graduate surveyor. He joins from Brackenridge Hanson Tate, where he worked as a graduate surveyor for just over a year.
