York investment deal completes

A BUILDING in central York has been sold in a deal worth more than £1.6m.

Acting on behalf of a private client, WSB Property Consultants have acquired 2 Low Ousegate.

The five-story property is situated on a busy high street overlooking the River Ouse.

Nearby occupiers include Waterstones, Tesco’s, Piccolinos and Yates.

The basement and ground floor space is currently let to Coalters, the estate and letting agents.

Planning consent has been granted for a change of use on the upper floors to develop 8 x 2 bedroom apartments with the possibility of a penthouse suite being added.
