LAW firm Rollits has appointed Ralph Gilbert as managing partner, taking over from Richard Field who has become a senior partner.

Mr Gilbert joined Rollits in 1988 and serves as the firm’s finance partner, and will also be involved in client business once he takes on his new role.
Mr Field takes over from Steve Trynka.

He said: “I am honoured to have been chosen as the managing partner of Rollits, a firm which I joined upon graduating from the University of Hull 27 years ago.

“I want us to build upon our reputation for delivering the very best service for our clients whilst continuing to adapt and innovate in an ever changing legal market place.

“I start my tenure from a very strong base, ready to build upon the excellent work of Steve and Richard in the past.”

Richard Field said: “I have worked closely with Ralph for the last eight years when he was finance partner and so I know he will do an excellent job. I am sure he will do all he can to continue to move the firm forwards and entrench our position as one of the leading commercial law firms in Yorkshire.”
