Appointments: LCF Law, Augean, Crawshaws

LCF LAW has appointed commercial property lawyer David Jameson as a director at its Leeds offices.

He joins from hlw Keeble Hawson and brings more than 20 years of commercial property experience to the role, and brings his secretary Maria O’Malley to his new firm.

Mr Jameson said: “This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected company with big ambitions to expand the number of commercial property clients it works with in the Leeds and wider market, which makes it both an exciting and challenging career move.”

FRESH meat retailer Crawshaw Group has appointed Alan Richardson as its chief financial officer.

Joining officially from 7 September, he will take over from Lynda Sherratt, who will assume the role of finance director and company secretary roles at the beginning of October.

Mr Richardson joins Crawshaw Group from Morrisons Supermarkets, having spent five years with the supermarket chain where he held a number of senior finance roles, most recently as finance director for group retail and logistics.

Before that, he spent 8 years with Asda, following his qualification as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2001.

Kevin Boyd, currently Crawshaw Group managing director, will be appointed chief commercial officer.

Chief executive officer, Noel Collett, said: “Alan brings a wealth of relevant financial management experience of an expanding retail business along with expertise in business strategy, cross functional transformation and strategic management accounting initiatives during periods of portfolio growth.”

WASTE management business Augean has appointed John Grant as a non-executive director.

Mr Grant has had more than two decades’ experience in board director roles. He is currently a non-executive director of Melrose Industries plc, Pace plc and MHP SA as well as chairman of the British Racing Drivers Club.

He previously served as the chairman of Torotrak plc and as senior independent director of Wolfson Microelectronics plc, amongst other appointments.
