Rugby league icon announced for networking lunch

ANOTHER special guest will now be coming to our rugby networking lunch  later this month – the rugby league Challenge Cup.
Won by Leeds Rhinos for a second successive year, after beating Hull KR in last month’s Wembley final, the famous trophy will be making an appearance at Bibis Restaurant on September 18.
It will be joined by cross-code star Henry Paul, who won the trophy in 1995 with Wigan and 2000 with Bradford Bulls – beating Leeds in the final on both occasions – and former Leeds Rhinos star Keith Senior, who won the cup in 1998 when Sheffield Eagles created one of the greatest shocks in the competition’s 118-year history by beating Wigan at Wembley.
Alongside them will be Leeds Rhinos’ Jamie Jones-Buchanan and his Rugby AM teammate Alex Simmons, who will compère the event, while Rugby AM’s cameras will be also be in attendance.
The next event will again take place at Bibis, just two minutes’ walk from Leeds station, on Friday, September 18 – the day England kick-off the 2015 Rugby Union World Cup.
The event starts at 12pm, before sitting down for a two-course meal at 12.30pm interspersed with hearing from our speakers.
We will also be supporting the Leeds Rhinos Foundation as our charity partner during the afternoon.
Tickets are £70 + VAT each or a table for ten is £650 + VAT. For any questions please contact charlene.johnson@thebusinessdesk.com
