£1m of deals in rail sector puts software firm on right track

SOFTWARE company 3Squared has shown it is on the right track after it added 10 staff to its Sheffield team to support contract wins in the rail sector.

The software development consultancy uses technology to help clients overcome problems and be more efficient and has offices in Sheffield and London. It has recently announced it had secured £1m of orders for its RailSmart software products.

“We have seen a major increase in new business in the last six months, particularly from the rail sector,” said James Fox, commercial director at 3Squared.

“Expanding our team means being able to enhance our services to meet the demands of our ever growing client base as we strive to be the leading software app development company in the UK.”

Its latest recruits include Dr David Yates, who has industry experience in developing native mobile apps for the health sector along with Usmaan Dad who specialises in Android mobile development.
