Grade I-listed building set for office refurbishment

CONSENT has been secured to refurbish a grade I-listed building, Leeming House in Leeds.

On behalf of Freshwater Group, TPS have secured planning consent for a revamp of the office buildings, which were constructed in 1904.

These buildings form part of Leeds’ Victorian Market Hall.

The five storey site provides four floors of office space totalling 35,000 sq ft over 17 ground floor retail units of 6,400 sq. ft.

The offices are currently vacant and TPS are now working up a comprehensive refurbishment proposal which will see Leeming House re-positioned in the Leeds office market.

TPS director Mark Newton commented: “Leeming House is a fantastic building and we very much look forward to bringing it back into use. This is an exciting time to be working in this part of Leeds City Centre which is already experiencing improvements brought about by the imminent arrival of the new Victoria Gate scheme.”
