Work begins on Enterprise Park

CONSTRUCTION has begun at the Malton Enterprise Park’s phase two development.

The North Yorkshire site is a 740,520 sq ft commercial development by David Harrison Group, offering office, trade and industrial units.

This next phase follows the successful completion of the start of the scheme, which saw sales to food packaging suppliers J M Packaging and telecoms infrastructure engineers Alifabs and chilled food producer Pro-Pak.

The latest phase will be ready for occupation in spring 2016.

Sean Harrison, managing director of David Harrison Group, said “We are very happy to see the next phase of construction at Malton Enterprise Park get underway. This is a much sought after and highly accessible location in North Yorkshire.”

There will be space available from 1,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft.

Leeds-based chartered surveyor and property consultancy Sanderson Weatherall has been instructed as joint marketing agent for the park alongside York based McBeath Property Consultancy.

Jonathon White, associate partner in the Sanderson Weatherall agency team added: “Significant investment is being made in Malton Enterprise Park and we are seeing continued high demand from local occupiers, as evidenced by the fact that eight units are already under offer.

“This is great news for the local economy, as historically, Malton has struggled to accommodate growing local businesses and attract national occupiers to the area, due to a lack of product, but thanks to Malton Enterprise Park this is now changing.”
