Henry Boot offloads its Thorne Park industrial units

A LARGE proportion of Henry Boot Developments’ Thorne Park units in Doncaster have already been offloaded, just one month after practical completion.

In August, Boxes and Packaging signed a deal to open a 45,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, and a deal for 10,650 sq ft was signed in November.

More than 32,000 sq ft across three units are under offer, leaving only two industrial sites left.

Henry Boot Developments secured a £6.45m grant from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to enable delivery of this final phase of Thorne Park.

Vivienne Clements, director at Henry Boot Developments, said ‘We are extremely pleased to have seen such a high level of take up at Thorne Park so soon after practical completion. Having up to 80% now sold / let or under offer is very positive for the development and exceeds our expectation.

“We feel this represents a confidence in the market for well specified, high quality industrial units ranging between 15,000 – 50,000 sq.ft.

“With only two units left at Thorne Park currently not under offer, we are hoping to achieve full occupancy for this development by Spring 2016.”
