Motor group invests in growth

VEHICLE company LR Motors have invested £500,000 in a 4×4 dealership, specialising in the Land Rover Defender.

The North Yorkshire site will employ four people, as the owners aim to become a national brand, focused on its Defender expertise.

LR Motors will buy and sell Defenders, with a service department for owners.

The last of the current Land Rover Defenders rolled-off the production lines of Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull factory in the West Midlands in December 2015.

Ross Munro, sales executive said: “We have seen a huge leap in interest around the iconic Defender as production ceases. Fans of the historic vehicle are eager to snap up good examples, and we’ve gone to great lengths to source stock from across the UK.

“We have a great selection of Defenders and with new stock coming in all the time, customers are bound to find something they like. We also offer a vehicle sourcing service, so if you want something else please let us know.”
