Food and drink retailers urged to look to Kirkgate for opportunities

THE £13.6m redevelopment of Kirkgate Markets in Leeds is coming to a close, and developers are urging food and drink businesses to take up space in its fresh food hall.

The new hall will open this spring, bringing together meat, fish, game and fresh produce.

Now Leeds City Council is encouraging Yorkshire’s smaller food and drink producers to move in to the revamped space.
