Appointments: Knight Frank, Esh Group, Leeds Interact

AMY Scales has joined the Leeds office of property consultancy Knight Frank.

She joins from CBRE and has also worked at DTZ and Carter Towler in Leeds.

Ms Scales joins the property and asset management team.

Henrie Westlake, head of Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “Amy is a valuable addition to our team. Her expertise and experience in the Yorkshire property market will help to further improve our property and asset management service to our clients.”

DIVISIONAL director Stuart Leslie has been appointed to Esh Build, a division of Esh Construction in Yorkshire.

Prior to his appointment, Mr Leslie spent 26 years with the Kier Group.

Mr Leslie will direct the business development, CSR, pre-construction, production and commercial delivery teams.

Andy Gawthorpe, regional managing director of Esh Construction said: “Stuart brings a wealth of experience to the role and will champion operational excellence across the commercial build business. Esh Group has seen strong results and is well placed for continued expansion in Yorkshire.”

Esh Group recently announced a strong set of financial results with turnover up 43 per cent on the previous year to £277m, and a leap in profit to £9.5m against £3.2m in 2013.

HARROGATE-BASED architectural firm director Simon Parker has been appointed as the Leeds branch chairman of networking initiative Interact.

Simon Parker has been a member for nine years and will hold the post at Leeds Interact for two years.

Mr Parker is a director at seven architecture in Harrogate.
Interact is a UK-wide network of construction and property business clubs, comprising more than 450 individuals.

Mr Parker said: “I’m delighted to become chairman of Interact’s Leeds branch. We’re a thriving, successful group whose members have developed strong and enduring working relationships.

“The construction and property sectors have had a tough time over the last few years. Through the interaction of our members, we have helped generate new commercial opportunities and attract investment to the region.”
