Solicitor launches Leeds law firm

A LEEDS law firm has been launched in Chapel Allerton as the city looks to cement itself as a professional services hub.

James Green, formerly of Michael Lewin Solicitors and Blacks Solicitors, has launched the specialist firm.

Dubbed JG Solicitors, it will focus on consumer rights issues including delayed flights, underpaid compensation for personal injury and illnesses related to workplace environments.

Mr Green was educated in Leeds and Sheffield, and had a 40-strong team under his command at his previous position.

Managing director Mr Green said: “I have always wanted to set up my own firm and it’s great to think I’ll be able to help hardworking people stand up against greedy, multinational corporations”.

“I am delighted to be opening a new practice in my hometown of Leeds. Our dynamic team will work in a paperless office, which means we will use less resources and can pass on the savings to our clients. We bring specialist legal expertise and are ready to fight hard to get a fair deal for people both locally and nationally.

The business will open officially on 15 March 2016.
