Technology director makes £650,000 share sale

A NON-EXECUTIVE director at data capture business Tracsis has offloaded shares worth £650,000 in the business.

John Nelson sold 130,000 shares at 500p per ordinary share.

Mr Nelson now has a 0.4% interest in the company, and 25,000 in share options from a 2013 agreement, with an exercise price of 175p per share.

In January this year, chief executive John McArthur made a similar disposal , of 130,000 shares which came in at £619,080.

In its most recent results, Tracsis increased revenue 19% to £14.3m, for the six months to 31 January. However post-tax profits dipped to £1.1m from £2.1m.

Its most recent full year to July 2015, the firm showed a 14% increase in revenues to £25.4m with adjusted pre-tax profits increasing 16% to £5.8m.

The Leeds-based business has been on the acquisition trail in the past year, acquiring mobile analytics business Citi Logik in September 2015, as well as traffic management business SEP Ltd and software development company Ontrac in December 2015.
