Golf centre renews Leadbetter partnership

LEEDS Golf Centre is to continue its partnership with David Leadbetter, one of the most recognised names in golf tuition, reaffirming its status as the UK headquarters of The Leadbetter Golf Academy for a further four years.

Leeds Golf Centre was chosen as the UK home to the Leadbetter Academy in 2013 after receiving critical acclaim for its state-of-the-art teaching facilities and proposition in Leeds.

The centre employs two certified Leadbetter instructors as part of its six-man team of PGA professionals.

Chris Parker, Leadbetter Academy manager and senior instructor, has been a Certified Leadbetter Instructor since 2003, during which he assisted David Leadbetter coaching players Frederick Jacobsen, Nick Price, Na Yeon Choi and Suzanne Pettersen, as well as accompanying LPGA Euro Tour players Sandra Gal and Stefanie Michl.

Certified Leadbetter instructor and PGA professional, Joe Feather, is a former Leeds and Yorkshire player who won PGA trainee of the year in 2011. A former Asian Tour, Alps Tour and Europro Tour Player, he has had multiple professional tournament victories.

It’s a great privilege to renew our partnership for a further four years and continue to offer golfers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn from world-class instructors.”
