European airline lands extra flights for Leeds Bradford

LOW cost airline Ryanair has expanded its winter 2016 schedule at Leeds Bradford Airport.
New routes, which were announced by the airline on Thursday, will include two weekly flights to Bratislava in Slovakia and Vilnius in Lithuania.
The announcement follows the news of new Gran Canaria and Warsaw routes earlier this year as part of the airlines plan to deliver to 1.1m customers per annum whilst supporting 825 jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “These twice weekly services will be popular with both leisure and business customers and we look forward to continuing to grow both traffic and jobs at Leeds Bradford Airport.”
Ryanair’s Leeds Bradford winter 2016 schedule now includes 15 routes in total and 51 weekly flights to the likes of Alicante, Lanzarote, Krakow and Faro.
Tony Hallwood, Aviation Development Director at Leeds Bradford Airport, said: “Ryanair’s Vilnius and Bratislava routes from Leeds Bradford Airport are a great addition to their winter schedule from LBA; both are fantastic destinations for city breaks and for business travel.
“We’re really pleased that Ryanair are investing further in their routes from Leeds Bradford, helping to secure jobs for people across our region and provide even more route choice to our customers.”
