2. Art in the Gardens

Botanical Gardens will be transformed into an art and craft village for the annual Art in the Gardens event this weekend. The work of over 350 artists and crafts’ workers will be available for purchasing at the event, which is expected to attract around 10,000 visitors.

4. Allied Air Forces memorial day

Location: Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington
Each year, the Yorkshire air museum gathers with veterans, families and international members of armed forces to remember those that sacrificed their lives.

5. Supercar experience
Date: Saturday 3rd Septmeber
Location: Meadowhall, Sheffield
Some of the UK’s most spectacular supercars will be showcased at Sheffield’s popular retail destination this weekend, as part of a fantastic four-wheel extravaganza in aid of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
More than 50 eye-catching cars will be cruising to the Centre where they will be displayed and demonstrated by their proud owners, who are travelling from all over the country for this special Supercar Experience.
