Retail park fills up as deals complete

A RETAIL park built on the site of a former colliery in South Yorkshire is now fully let following two deals.

The last remaining vacant units at Onyx Retail Park have been snapped up by The Groom Room barber shop and an Oasis Hot Tubs and Spas showroom.

Andrew Miller, from Chartered Surveyors of Sheffield, said: “Most of the businesses at Onyx have taken long lets which shows the confidence they have in the site being ideally placed for retailers to prosper.”  

Built by Onward Holdings on the former Manvers colliery at Wath-Upon-Deane, the site has created around 150 jobs and comprises 17,500sq ft of retail space.
