Yorkshire hots up with World Curry Festival 2016

THE countdown is on for the World Curry Festival 2016 which this year is being held across Bradford and Leeds.
Vying for the title of spiciest food festival, the 15-day spice sensation will offer 50 events bringing together lovers of spice in the region.
Launching on 15 September with a gala dinner at Bradford Cathedral followed by the opening weekend in Bradford with three days of street food and a food exhibition, masterclasses and cooking school at Kala Sangam Arts Centre.
The street food fair will move from the Broadway to Leeds’ Wellington Place on 22 and 23 September.
Pop up cooking demos will feature at Kirkgate Market in Leeds between 26 and 29 September,
American chef Ken Hom OBE will be attending the festival to collect a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to developing and promoting Asian cuisine.

Special events include our launch at the magnificent Bradford Cathedral as well as an appearance from the legendary Ken Hom OB.

It was first established in Leeds in 2010 and the festival now takes place in Yorkshire and Malaysia each year.
