Steel firm snaps up up Bradford industrial site

BRADFABS, a steel fabrication specialist, has acquired a Bradford site as it looks to expand.

The business has bought a 25,000 sq ft site on Idle Road in Bradford to enable it to increase capacity.

Bradfabs produces bespoke fabrications such as staircases, balconies and walkways.

Established in 1990, the company has an additional site in Laisterdyke.

Jonathon White, partner and industrial agency specialist at the Sanderson Weatherall Leeds office said: “Despite all the negativity surrounding brexit we are continuing to see strong levels of demand for commercial property.

“Whilst we have had one or two transactions placed on hold until October at the earliest, these have all been a result of PLC board decisions. Enquires from SMEs are similar to pre-brexit levels and if anything freehold enquiries are increasing.”
