Where do you live/where are you from?

I currently live in Bramham and love it, but as a boy grew up in Nidderdale. I had a brief ten year spell living in the centre of Harrogate, but clearly I’m a country boy at heart.

What is your favourite place to visit in Yorkshire and why?

The “two stoops” above Bewerley near Pateley Bridge is one of the most magical and mesmerising views

To pay a visit the Black Sheep Brewery

What is the most memorable meal you’ve ever had in Yorkshire?

My wedding breakfast at Rudding House in August 1994

My straight forward honest approach

Favourite piece of trivia about the region.

That the railway between Wath and Pateley Bridge was constructed and worked on by Prisoners of War during the Second World War

The sunnier weather from the South of England

Nothing Yorkshiremen are always so honest and humble, they say it as it is!
