Private equity firm adds PwC dealmakers to its team

PRIVATE equity firm NorthEdge Capital has appointed two dealmakers to its new business team.

Nicola McQuaid has been hired as an investment manager. A qualified chartered accountant, Ms McQuaid spent ten years at PwC’s corporate finance division before joining HgCapital-backed JLA. There she was a corporate development director specialising in mergers and acquisitions.

She will work at the firm’s Leeds office alongside partner and head of Yorkshire and the North East, John Rastrick.

Greg Holmes (pictured right) has also been hired as an investment executive after five years at PwC where he advised on private equity transactions.

NorthEdge recently closed Fund II at £300m, taking total funds under management to over half a billion, and is seeking to work with more management teams across the region.
