Former law firm partner launches specialist practice in Leeds

A COMMERCIAL litigation and dispute resolution-focused law firm has launched in Leeds.

Commercial litigation solicitor Stephen Inglis has launched Claremont Litigation, which will operate from Oxford House from 21 November.

Solicitor advocate Mr Inglis has held partnership at three different firms before becoming a solicitor-advocate.

He trained in the City of London and has acted for clients including Fullers Foods International plc, Cox Automotive Group and Easi-Lift Loading Systems Ltd.

In March 2014 he was appointed at Metis Law, prior to which he was a partner at gunnercooke, Ward Hadaway, Clarion and Halliwells.

Mr Inglis said: “My decision to establish a ‘disputes only’ firm in Leeds reflects my belief that there is space in the legal market in Yorkshire for a specialist litigation firm which is driven by results and not process.

“Claremont Litigation will provide strategic and commercial advice to clients and will work collaboratively with other law firms who might find themselves conflicted ensuring that existing lawyer/client relationships are respected.”

Claremont Litigation will operate out of Oxford House, Leeds from 21st November 2016.
