This Saturday will be your last opportunity to witness Hull’s opening celebration marking the last 70 years of life in the city through local and international art.
2. England athletics combined event
Date: Saturday 7th – Sunday 8th January
Location: EIS, Sheffield
From shot putt to pole vault, watch as both junior competitors and senior athletes compete in the England athletics combined event. 4. Jungle Book

Location: Joseph Rowntree Theatre, Haxby Road, York
Based on stories from The Jungle Book with a big helping of Oddsocks humour, Mowgli’s animal friends, Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther and Kaa the python all help to outwit his enemies and help him learn the law of the jungle.
