Crowdfunding campaign launched for Scandinavian restaurant move

Scandinavian inspired restaurant North are planning on moving to the former Mirabelle site in Harrogate – but need £20,000 to do it.
The restaurant has been a pop up for the past three years at the premises of popular Harrogate cafe Baltzersen’s but is now looking for permanent premises.
To make the move, Norse has launched a £20,000 Kickstarter campaign to help fund the new premises on Swan Road near Valley Gardens. This will top up the private investment it has received from local investors.
Norse offers two set menus and a bar menu, with traditional techniques such as curing, pickling, fermenting and dehydrating, used in the making.
Good Food Guide and Michelin Guide, receive two AA rosettes, and has been runner-up in the Observer Food Monthly Awards.
Paul Rawlinson, owner and founder of both Baltzersen’s (named after his Norwegian grandmother Liv Baltzersen) and Norse said: “This is a really exciting time for the whole Norse team. Although Norse has seen plenty of success sited in Baltzersen’s, we know that having our own space will allow us to make countless improvements at the same time as spending more time making the food even better. Right now we’re keen to raise the money necessary, and start making our new site a reality!”
