Boutique firm snaps up DLA Piper partner

A commercial litigator and former Leeds partner at DLA Piper, Josh Wong, has defected from the firm to a boutique law firm.

Wong has left to join Signature Litigation, a London-based firm.

His departure follows that of two other Leeds-based pair, Kate Payne and Vikki Massarano. Both left to move to ARC Pensions Law last week.

At DLA Piper Wong was chairman of the Europe China Interest Group, advised Fosun International on potential proceedings arising from a £300m acquisition of an Insurance group and specialised in international arbitration.

He was an associate at Herbert Smith Freehills prior to his appointment at DLA.
