Where do you live/where are you from?
I was born and bred in Harrogate, and I am still happily living there.
 
What is your favourite place to visit in Yorkshire and why?
Princess Mary Stadium in Cleckheaton, the home of the West Yorkshire Track and Field League and its many characters.
 
What is still on your “to do” list in the region?
Witness the spectacle of Malham Cove and its limestone pavement, however my vertigo prevents this.
 
What is the most memorable meal you’ve ever had in Yorkshire?
Fiftieth birthday celebration with friends at the The Blue Lion in West Witton.
 
What is your most Yorkshire trait?

The belief that to qualify as a Yorkshire cricketer you must be born in the county!
 
Favourite piece of trivia about the region.
The Nidderdale Cricket League is the largest in England.
 
What is your favourite cultural icon to come out of Yorkshire?
Robert Palmer who was born in Batley.
 
Worst experience or thing about Yorkshire?
The reorganisation of the former Ridings into the nonsense which now exists.

What is one thing you’d steal from Lancashire (or other UK regions) if you could?
They have nothing which interests me!
