Shopping centre’s 65,000 sq ft extension fully let

The 65,000 sq ft leisure extension at White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds, due to open in the autumn, is now fully let.
Five Guys and Limeyard have exchanged contracts on the last units, completing the six-strong food and beverage mix.
Côte-owned Limeyard has chosen White Rose for its first outlet in the North and its third location in the country, offering an all-day American-style dining experience, and is joined by burger restaurant Five Guys.
The leisure scheme will also introduce Wagamama, Chiquito, TGI Friday’s, and Pizza Hut.
The dining venues will open in July, ahead of the official launch.
The two recent deals come shortly after the announcement that Next is investing £6m into the centre for the opening of its Yorkshire flagship.
The extension, offers six restaurants, an 11-screen IMAX Cineworld multiplex, outdoor event space, and a bespoke play area.
Steven Foster, general manager of White Rose Shopping Centre, said: “This is a really exciting time for us at White Rose, and we’re thrilled that our leisure extension is now fully let. We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone under our roof, and the new restaurants and cinema will only add to the experience.”
