Grant Thornton boosts team

ACCOUNTANCY firm Grant Thornton has appointed a new head of business development.

Sandra O’Neill has joined from KPMG and has more than 15 years experience in professional services sales and marketing.

In her new position with Grant Thornton in Leeds, Ms O’Neill will work to introduce new clients to the team, and work closely with the firm’s partners to develop new opportunities.

She said: “I hope 2009 is a good year for the firm despite the impending recession and I look forward to seeing the business develop and grow in the months ahead.”
