Food lovers head for the Leeds Corn Exchange

CELEBRITY chef Anthony Flinn’s latest venture Piazza by Anthony is already 10% ahead of trading projections just three months after opening.

The Leeds Corn Exchange-based enterprise, which boasts a restaurant, cafe and food retail shops, is currently serving around 1,000 customers a week in the restaurant alone.

The cafe and gourmet shops are also enjoying success serving around 750 customers each week.

Anthony Flinn Snr said that the numbers were an “outstanding achievement” and were a testament to the loyalty of the Anthony brand.

“Although people may be eating out less, when they do go out, they expect the best quality,”  he added.

“The Anthony’s brand is recognised for that so we are not experiencing a severe downturn like many ordinary restaurants are.”

Leeds Corn Exchange recently announced that is seeking to fill the centre with an array of high quality shops that can complement the existing food offer.

There may ultimately be a blend of fashion, accessories, home ware, food and lifestyle shops boosting visitors to the famous centre.
