Chatsworth contract for Curry Cuisine

FOOD and cookery firm Curry Cuisine has secured a listing in the farm shop on the Chatsworth Estate.
The firm will supply a range of chutneys and pickles to the shop which was established by the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire in 1977.
Andre Birkett, manager at the Chatsworth farm shop, said: “In the 33 years since Chatsworth farm shop opened British food has evolved beyond all recognition.
“We had been looking to expand our ranges to reflect the cultural diversity of British food today. We were delighted to find Curry Cuisine sourcing their ingredients locally and producing a range of great quality products, with the added benefit of being virtually on our doorstep.”
Curry Cuisine emphasises its Yorkshire roots, working with farmers within a 50-mile radius of its Dewsbury manufacturing site.
Operations director Paresh Tejura said: “We are delighted to supply a farm shop at a premier tourist attraction such as Chatsworth House.
“We know the shop only offers quality produce fresh from the estate, tenant farms, local suppliers and small British regional food producers like ourselves, so we feel privileged to be among such quality suppliers.”
