THE Room Restaurant in Leeds, run by John Pallagi, has gone into administration.
James Brewerton, of the Leeds office of restructuring firm Zolfo Cooper, has been appointed administrator of the restaurant in Boar Lane.
It is not clear if other restaurants in the Room or its sister Grille chain, which have restaurants in locations including London, Manchester and Chester, have also been affected and how many jobs have been affected.
Mr Brewerton and Mr Pallagi were unavailable for comment when contacted by TheBusinessDesk.com yesterday.

ARCHITECTS Careyjones is making 25 people redundant, with some posts going in its Leeds office.
The job losses have been blamed on the global economic downturn which is hitting both new orders and seeing projects being postponed.
The redundancies will hit the company’s four offices.

A YORKSHIRE entrepreneur is reported to have sold his company in a multi-million pound deal.
Graham Boanas has sold Hull electrics firm Powerplus to PHS Group, based in Caerphilly, Wales.
Powerplus carries out portable electrical appliance testing for a range of companies.
Mr Boanas has previously walked on the bed of the River Humber for charity.

LEEDS City Credit Union, Britain’s biggest credit Union, is understood to be seeking an emergency bailout.
It has been reported that the credit union is looking for cash to balance its books and that bodies including the Government, Leeds City Council and Yorkshire Forward are in talks with the organisation.
LCCU manages funds of around £30m.
