Car dealership to create 75 jobs in Nottingham

Car dealership Arnold Clark is set to open one of its Motorstore branches in Nottingham, creating 75 jobs.

The Nottingham branch, on Lenton Industrial Estate, will have 400 nearly-new and used cars to browse on site alongside car and van rental facilities, a valeting area and a service department.

The general manager at the branch will be David Lee, who has been with Arnold Clark for seven years.

Brian Webster, Arnold Clark Motorstore franchise manager, said: “We’re very excited about the opportunity to bring both the Arnold Clark and the Motorstore brand to Nottingham and the rest of the East Midlands area. As a company we’ve been looking for the opportunity to invest in such a vibrant city for many years and now that we’re here we can’t wait to open.”

The Nottingham branch will be the 22nd Motorstore to open. The first, in Motherwell, was opened in 2001.
